Go Green with us

At Sudima Hotels, choosing to “go green” is as simple as placing a wooden hanger on your door, signaling our housekeeping team to skip daily cleaning. This choice saves water and energy – precious resources used in washing linens and powering cleaning equipment.

We've partnered with 'My Native Forest'

By choosing a green room, you’re directly contributing to Sudima’s partnership with My Native Forest, a New Zealand organization committed to reviving native bushland across the country. Each year, our green room initiative helps fund the planting of 12,000 native trees, vital to restoring habitats for New Zealand’s unique wildlife, from native birds to insects. They also play a critical role in stabilising soil, protecting waterways, and preventing erosion, which supports the health of New Zealand’s rivers and natural landscapes.

The image shows several people planting trees in an open grassy field. They are wearing bright yellow high-visibility vests, gloves, and sturdy boots, indicating that this is an organized environmental or reforestation effort. Each person is actively digging or planting saplings, with tools like spades in use. A vehicle is parked in the background, and protective plant guards are visible around some of the saplings, suggesting a focus on ensuring the young trees' growth and protection.

The trees planted help to offset CO2 emissions and promote cleaner air, aligning with our vision for responsible tourism and environmental stewardship. By choosing a green room, you’re helping to create a thriving natural environment and leaving a lasting, positive impact on the land we all share.
